Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Redrock Bioenergy collects through this website, why, and the choices and rights you have. We keep the site deliberately light on data collection, and this policy reflects what it actually does.
Who we are
This website, redrockbioenergy.com, is operated by Redrock Bioenergy Pty Ltd (ACN 696 994 779), which is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@redrockbioenergy.com on any privacy matter.
What we collect
We collect very little, and only in these ways:
- Information you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name and email address, and optionally your company, the topic you select and the content of your message.
- Technical data from your visit. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find the site. This is aggregate only. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot be used to identify you or track you across other websites.
This site sets no cookies for advertising or tracking, and our analytics are cookieless and anonymous. We do not ask for or store sensitive personal information through the site.
Third-party services
Two third parties may process limited data when you view a page:
- Customer relationship management. When you submit the contact form, the details you provide are sent to our CRM, HubSpot, which stores them on our behalf so that we can manage and respond to your enquiry. Our HubSpot account uses EU data residency.
- Website hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify, which serves the pages, processes the technical log data above, and may hold a backup copy of a contact-form submission on our behalf.
- Web fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google may receive your IP address. Google acts as an independent provider for this purpose under its own privacy terms.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service, for the anonymous usage statistics described above. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data. Cloudflare, Inc. processes this aggregate data on our behalf; where that involves a transfer outside your country, appropriate safeguards apply as described below.
How we use your data, and our legal basis
We use the information above only to respond to your enquiry, to correspond with you about a possible project or engagement, and to operate and secure the website. Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are your consent, which you give by ticking the box when you submit the contact form and can withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in running the site and responding to people who contact us. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We share it only with the service providers named above, and only as needed to run the site, or where we are required to by law. Redrock operates across Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and our providers may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence and contact-form submissions only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then delete or archive them. Form submissions are stored in our HubSpot CRM, and as a backup may be held by Netlify, and can be deleted on request. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have rights over your personal data. Under the GDPR these include the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to data portability. Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these, email info@redrockbioenergy.com and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to a supervisory authority: the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
